Our primary objective is to provide creative time and space for our residents to develop a new project or body of work in ceramics. Auckland studio potters invites professional ceramic artists and craftspeople from the world over to apply for one of our three residency positions. We offer two 6 month all inclusive residencies per year for potters or ceramic sculptors. The emerging artist residency program encompasses two unique fellowships designed to provide up to four ceramic artists with an opportunity to be in residence for one year at northern clay center where they can develop their own work as well as exchange ideas and knowledge with other ceramic artists.
